There are various courses that an application can pursue for this visa at the different educational stages. 

 

 In order to be eligible for this visa, an applicant must be enrolled into an acceptable course of study (This course has to be approved by the Australian Immigration). The Applicant must also meet other requirements such as health insurance and show that they have sufficient finances to support themselves whilst in Australia, and in some cases meet the English Requirement. 

 

This visa is for those over 6 years of age, and applicants under 18 must also have welfare requirement in place. 

 

Apart from the above, one of the most important requirement for this visa is that an applicant must show that they are a genuine student, failing which the visa can be refused. Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement is a vital consideration when applying for a student visa.
